APPLIFOX provides HMI/SCADA solutions based on the Windows family platform operation systems. Technological process visualisation comprises all standard features as the operator interface itself in the form of technological schemes with active display and control elements, display and alarm messages and historical trends of selected quantities. A must is the provision of access to the individual HMI/SCADA functions on the basis of defined user rights. The individual applications mostly consist in the individual workstation ensuring all required functions. In the case of more complex structures a separation of server and client functions with the supply of several dispatching workplaces is common. All modern HMI/SCADA packages also comprises software interfaces by the means of which it is possible to connect database systems, third-party applications or facilitating analytical process data processing e.g. in an office package. Nowadays, OPC is a standard No. 1 for communication in the field of process management. This standard is contemporary wide-spread in particular with automation software products intended for the Microsoft operation system family. However, its brand new OPC UA specification based on communication via WebServices eliminates this restriction.

APPLIFOX has employees with long-term experience in the field of data mining from technological processes (so called Data Mining). The trend of industrial data storage building has much to do with corporate information technology implementation and introduction of various control and analytical software tools supporting the processes in a company. The basis of these industrial data storages is a relational database (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) as standard. Filling of these storages is carried out by special application extensions of a control system. Thus, transactional access to stored data, standardised storing and data storage administration are provided for.
